1880s Antique Haviland (Limoges) Round Compote Moss Rose Pink Fuchsia TrimThe Haviland company was an integral part in bringing French Style or Limoges Porcelain to the Americas. This is a hard porcelain, so it is no wonder that this piece has lasted over 100 years. While it is more common to see metallic trim on these types/ages of pieces, this compote is trimmed in stunning pink fuchsia. Not only is the trim around the bowl, but also under the bowl and double trim at the base. This moss rose pattern is also something not seen very often. The Moss is green, blue, orange, and brown. The roses are a faint fuchsia color with darker center all on a porcelain white background.4.625" Tall, 8.75" at it's Widest, Holds 20 fl oz.Excellent antique condition. Vibrant pattern and trim, minor chip on bowl as pictured. Very small, and took me a few trips around the trim to be able to locate it for photographing.
